Graduation Process

Graduation Process: 

1. Prior to applying for graduation, please see your Academic advisor, or Katie Terry, NFC Cooridnator of Graduation and Enrollment Services, for a review of your records.
2. The graduation application must be submitted by the posted deadline in the Academic calendar.
3. If you wish to participate in our graduation ceremony you must order a cap & gown or student regalia. Some programs may not be eligible for participation. Please contact the graduation office for more information.
4. While College credit certificates may be earned upon successful completion of coursework, some college credit certificates are not eligible to participate in graduation ceremonies. If an Associate level degree is the primary focus, a College Credit Certificate will be recognized at the time the Associate level degree is earned. Please reach out to the Coordinator of Graduation and Enrollment Services with any questions related to ceremony participation eligibility.

    

   Effective Spring term 2024, regalia rates are as follows:

   Cap & Gown Keeper unit

   (keeper unit consists of cap, gown, tassel, diploma cover, and honor cord if applicable)   

   • Bachelor of Science in Nursing - $54
   • Associate in Arts - $47
   • Associate in Science - $47

   Tassel packages available for those who already have an NFC Cap & Gown 

   Clock Hour Programs and College Credit Certificates $25

   (regalia consists of NFC polo, diploma cover, and honor cord if applicable)

   • Certified Production Technology
   • College Credit Certificates
   • Commercial Vehicle Driver
   • Early Childhood Professional Certificate
   • Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning/Refrigeration (HVAC)
   • Industrial Machinery Maintenance
   • Welding

   Practical Nursing & Nursing Assistant $ 14 (candidates will wear class scrubs)

   Public Safety Programs $14 (candidates wear NFC class uniform)

The Fall 2025 Commencement ceremony will be held December 11, 2025, 5:00pm, at the Van H. Priest Auditorium on the campus of North Florida College

The Spring 2026 Commencement Ceremony is scheduled for May 7, 2026.
